The twin doctors! As a huge Whovian, my first foray into doing a fashion style pony HAD to be Doctor Whooves, and while I was at it I decided to make a new 4" DW, too. Why not, right? I'll upload them separately later, but here the guys are.

Big DW was made with a pinkie pie base and covered in Super Sculpty and acrylic craft paint, as painting a big surface like that with model paint is near impossible...it dries too fast! It took more coats but was worth it. Little DW was made with a cheerliee bait.

lol nice!

Hey, question. How do you bake polymer clay onto ponies exactly? I thought the oven would be hot enough to melt plastic when baking polymer clay.

Because I wanted to get some blind bag ponies and use some of my polymer clay (I have Original Sculpey, I believe) to turn them into little Christmas ornaments, but I was afraid it would be impossible as the tiny blind bags would get melted by the oven.

Actually, they don't melt! As long as you bake it at about 250/225, no higher. When they're hot they do have a tendency to cool in funny positions of they're messed with, so for instance ponies that fall over in the oven might have a folded wing or something. Just make sure they aren't messed with until they cool down and you're fine! Blind bags are actually better at baking than the big ones too

Okay. Since I want to turn blind bags into Christmas ornaments, what should I put on it to attach the hook to it after baking?

They sell small screws at either the craft store in the jewlery findings, or the hardware shop. They're screws with a loop at the end. You can bake those directly into whatever clay or screw them into the pony head!
